Signals returns deterministic site metadata, technology observations, scanned URLs, warnings, and AI-discoverability readiness. Prospect adds company claims with exact evidence and source URLs, grounded opportunities, and outreach linked to a validated opportunity.

## AI-discoverability methodology

Methodology version `1.0.0` scores observable readiness from 0–100 across access and indexability (30 points), technical clarity (25), machine-readable structure (20), and answerability and citation readiness (25). Individual checks include earned points, observed evidence, source URL, and a recommendation. `llms.txt` is informational and has no score impact because it is not a universal ranking requirement.

The score cannot guarantee indexing, ranking, inclusion in training, or citation by any AI system.

## Payment and retries

An unpaid paid-endpoint request returns HTTP 402 and a `PAYMENT-REQUIRED` header. An x402 buyer authorizes the advertised amount and retries the identical request with `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE`. Generate one payment identifier per logical request and reuse it on network retries. The local stdio MCP bridge keeps the wallet on the buyer's machine, disables payments by default, and enforces hard per-call and overall caps.

## Boundaries

Prospect402 accepts only public HTTPS websites, follows same-origin redirects, respects robots rules, reads at most four HTML pages, does not execute page JavaScript, and intentionally excludes personal contact enrichment. Raw HTML is not stored in benchmark snapshots.
